HSIE

The Human Society and Its Environment (HSIE) faculty at East Hills Girls Technology High School provides students with the opportunity to explore the world around them — past, present and future. Through a range of engaging and challenging subjects, students learn how people, cultures, environments and economies interact, and how these relationships shape our societies. From Years 7–12, HSIE subjects foster curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of local and global issues. Students develop valuable skills in research, analysis, problem-solving and communication that prepare them for success in further study, employment and active citizenship.
