Information Technology
The Information Technology (IT) faculty at East Hills Girls Technology High School provides students with the opportunity to explore enterprise information systems, software development, and graphics and multimedia design. Through a range of creative and challenging subjects, students learn how people and technology interact with each other, how technologies support our society, create digital solutions to meet a range of problems, and design graphic and multimedia products. Students evaluate social and ethical issues that impact how we use, organise, analyse and share data and information on digital platforms to develop an understanding of cyber security that impacts many of the digital systems we use today. Students develop valuable skills in project management, system analysis, problem-solving and communication techniques that prepare them for success in further study, employment and active digital citizenship.
