iPad Integration

iPads are fully integrated into teaching and learning across all year levels and learning areas, functioning as a versatile tool for creativity, collaboration and deep engagement with the curriculum. Students use a range of purpose-built applications to design, model, create and problem-solve, from constructing dynamic mathematical representations and digital portfolios, to producing multimedia projects that bring subject content to life. Beyond content delivery, iPads support differentiated and student-led learning, enabling young people to work at their own pace, access real-time resources, and collaborate seamlessly with peers and teachers both in and beyond the classroom. This one-to-one approach ensures technology enhances, rather than replaces, quality teaching, placing powerful creative and analytical tools directly in the hands of every learner.

Becoming an Apple Distinguished School

Since 2014 our choice of the Apple platform is a testament to our commitment to excellence. As an Apple distinguished school, we are recognised for excellence in the use of Apple technology to inspire, imagine, and impact teaching and learning through continuous innovation. This makes learning more engaging and fosters collaboration among students and teachers.

Apple iPad integration and parental support

Parents and Carers are encouraged to purchase iPads for their child to use at school. iPads and other necessary Apple equipment can be purchased from any appropriate retail outlet or supplier. To support this transition, we conduct parent information sessions focused on technology use. These sessions cover essential topics, including:

• cyber safety and our Responsible Use Agreement

• policies and procedures

• teaching and learning with iPads

• school expectations
