Teachers Study Tour to Melbourne

On Tuesday the 7^th August a group of thirteen teachers from our school travelled to Melbourne to visit two Colleges (Secondary Schools) that have introduced  Apple iPads to Year 7.  We were hosted by Stephen King and his Victorian team of Apple educators. Both schools gave us an introduction to their program and the process they undertook to introduce the project to their school community. Teachers spoke about what they have learnt and were now able to do in the classroom with this technology. We visited a number of classrooms where we were able to observe firsthand the various types of learning experiences that we had been informed about by the presenters. The students in the classrooms shared with us what they were doing and why.
