Life Ready is a mandatory 25 hour program for students in Years 11 and/or 12 in NSW public schools.
At East Hills Girls Technology High School, students complete the Life Ready course in Year 11.
It aims to prepare and support senior students as they encounter situations related to health and safety as they become more independent and gain more responsibilities.
Life Ready focuses on offering opportunities for students to build the functional knowledge and skills for life after school.
Our school embraces learning opportunities through our Life Ready program.
Students are offered connected experiences, including a 3 day retreat, to develop knowledge and skills across the six relevant and contemporary learning contexts, independence, mental health and wellbeing, relationships, sexuality and sexual health, drugs and alcohol and safe travel.
