Bring Your Own Device
Our school is future focused and strives to be innovative in its integration of technology into teaching and learning. In 2011, our school identified the need for students to have increased access to technology and to address this we introduced a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy. Currently students from 7-12 have 1:1 access to technology through the integration of the iPad for learning.
Our school has chosen Apple platform because it aligns with our school plan to make learning relevant, inspire creativity, enhance collaboration, and enable every learner to be a creator who believes their work matters.
iPads may be purchased from any appropriate retail outlet or supplier. Parents/carers need to make their own independent decision regarding purchasing of an iPad and other equipment.
You can purchase your student’s Apple product, by visiting the Miranda Apple Store page. This secure, customised page ensures that you’re buying the Apple device your student needs, and it offers all the same great features you’ll find when hopping on the Apple website, including free delivery and in-store pick-up.
East Hills Girls Technology High School/Our School also presents Parent Information Sessions regarding the use of iPads. Future information dates and times can be viewed on Upcoming Events section of the home page. If further information is required, please contact the school.
